What we collect, and what we do not
This site has one form and one mailbox behind it. There is no analytics vendor, no advertising network, no captcha service and no cookie. What follows is the whole of it.
Who is responsible for your data
PLAYBOOX is a sole proprietorship registered as an IT and software firm with Dhaka South City Corporation, trade licence TRAD/DSCC/007395/2026, issued 21 August 2026 and valid until 30 June 2027. The proprietor is Shuvo Mridha.
Registered address: 152/2/M, Green Road (2nd floor), Panthapath, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh.
For anything on this page, write to support@playboox.net or call +880 1811 924164. A person answers; there is no privacy ticketing system to route you through.
What the contact form collects
The form on /contact asks for six things, and collects nothing you do not type into it:
- Your full name
- Your company name
- Your work email address
- Your preferred deployment, chosen from a list
- What kind of enquiry it is, chosen from a list
- Your message
There is a seventh input in the form that you will never see. It is a spam trap: it is hidden from the page, hidden from screen readers and removed from the tab order, so a human cannot fill it in and an automated script can. If it arrives filled, the message is discarded. Nothing you can reach is affected by it.
Where it goes
The form posts to this site’s own server, which relays the message over SMTP to a PLAYBOOX mailbox and keeps no copy. There is no database on this site and no customer record system behind it. Your enquiry exists as an email, in an inbox, and nowhere else.
The mail is carried by our email provider, as any email is. We do not send your enquiry to an analytics service, a CRM, an advertising platform or any other third party, because none of those are connected to this site.
Cookies, and the one thing stored in your browser
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for sessions, not for preferences. No route on the site returns a Set-Cookie header, including the one that receives the form.
One value is written to your browser’s local storage: pbx-theme, which remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your browser and is never sent to us. Clearing your site data removes it and the site works exactly as before.
Third parties on this page
There are none. Every script this site loads is served from this site. Typefaces are built into the site at compile time rather than fetched from a font host, so opening a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
Links to other organisations — our parent’s site, LinkedIn, Facebook, AWS pricing pages — are ordinary links. Following one takes you to a site with its own privacy policy, which is not ours.
How long it is kept
Your enquiry stays in the mailbox. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule for it, and saying otherwise would be a promise nothing enforces — so here is the honest version: it is kept while the conversation is live and for as long as the working relationship needs it, and it is deleted when you ask.
Ask at support@playboox.net and the message and its replies are removed from the mailbox. You do not have to give a reason.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR give you the right to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to what we do with it, and to receive it in a portable form. Our lawful basis for holding an enquiry is that you sent it to us in order to take steps towards a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering it.
Those rights are cheap for us to honour because there is so little to honour them against: one email, in one mailbox. Write to support@playboox.net and we will act on it rather than ask you to prove a jurisdiction first.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you may complain to your national data protection authority — the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, or the supervisory authority of the member state you live in.
Children
This is a business-to-business site about streaming infrastructure. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes to this page
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it on the same day, and the review date at the top moves. There is no separate change log, because a policy this short does not need one — read it again and you have read all of it.
This is a plain-language policy written to describe what this site actually does. It is not legal advice, and it does not replace whatever contract governs an engagement — see the terms.
